Node voltage Method

o# what is it

• A method to do circuit analysis using the node voltages

  • Basically we are using Kirchhoff’s laws to write equations that are in reference to the common ground or reference node we chose as the 0V place
  • we need to make oneless equation to solve a circuit

Step 0

• Make sure the lay out of the circuit has no overlapping no connections

Step 1

• Pick a reference node

  • 
  • 3 is the chosen node voltage for the reference node
  • this node voltage will be the 0 thing so everything in reference (get it) to it.

Step 2

• then label the node voltages for each one

Step 3

• solve easy nodes

Step 4

• Write KCL Kirchhoff’s laws equations

• Solve
