Dirac Notation

• |ket>

  • We can label the notation for the vector is called “ket” vector

    • $\text{right}=|right>$ it is important we need to make sure that it is a linear combination of the superposition

    • to stop us from thinking these vectors are directions we use column vectors

      • $|right>=\left[\begin{array}{c}1\\ 0\end{array}\right],|left>=\left[\begin{array}{c}0\\ 1\end{array}\right]$

  • IT is the output of the final position like upper then we would say it is like

    • $\left[\begin{array}{c}1,0\end{array}\right]$ it is the transpose of it to be able to multiply with the ket vector
