What is an Argument

• a set of premises and a statements the get turned into a conclusion
  • what constitutes an argument
    • arguments have truth values
  • arguments and their premises must support each other to make it a valid argument

• To make a good argument

  • you must have true premises that connect with the argument that isn’t disconnected from the argument completely
